Happy Sunday, friends!
I am doing my best to stay busy during this time of quarantine and online shopping seems to be my main source of entertainment. š I like to think that my online shopping addiction is actually me doing my part in keeping these businesses open and afloat…like I said, I like to think this. Just let me have it, okay? š
Quarantine thoughts…
On a serious note, Iāve been reflecting as well when Iām not shopping and thereās a couple of things that are at the forefront of my mind.
- I will never take being able to go to the gym, a restaurant or traveling anywhere outside of my apartment for granted again. We are all ready to get back to normal life, but it is clear to me that this has forced us all to slow down and Iām actually thankful for that.
- Which brings me to the second thing- being present. Is it just me or have you all become more aware of how you spend your time? Being forced to slow down, leaves us with soooo much more time. I find myself trying to escape the anxiety of this situation we are in. I have realized that I donāt have to be productive every minute of every day. At first, that was really hard for me. I beat myself up if Iām āproductive enoughā in my eyes. I have given myself permission to binge watch Netflix and do absolutely nothing! Letās make the most of this time and focus on the good.Ā
