For this part 2 about dresses for spring/summer, I want to talk about what is trending. First, the colors that are trending for spring/summer are seafoam green, baby pink, blue, and yellow. Basically, think all of the pastels and then all of the neon colors!

Patterns to look for in these trending colors- Gingham, stripes, and polka dots!
This gingham dress from Missguided is very on trend right now and looks super comfy! If you are a shorty, these types of dresses can be tricky. I would suggest going down a size or even two so that it’s for sure a mini dress on you or you could even style with lace biker shorts!
Trending Styles:
Another trend that I am seeing and loving, are the tiered dresses. They are layered and perfect for giving some added height to shorties! There are so many different styles of tiered dresses that you can find one for any shape! There are fancy versions and more casual options from Cotton On that I love!
Maxi dresses with a slit are where it’s at people! I love them so much and I will be investing in a few for summer for sure. Here are my favorites right now- Missguided, H&M, and boohoo.
These dresses are so versatile. You can add sneakers for a casual look or add a belt and sandals. Styling is made easy when you have a great base! These dresses are your great base and then you can just add on from there.
