A denim jacket is one of my favorite staple items in my closet. It just adds a cool factor to every outfit. There are so many ways to style a denim jacket!
If you are feeling real cool, you can pop the color for some major 80’s vibes. When you are hot, you can tie around your waist & it still looks good! I actually do this on purpose with very straight maxi dresses to accentuate my waist more.
Then there’s the I am kinda cold, kinda warm look where you drape the jacket over your shoulders. This look can be really cute for pictures!

-The raw hem denim jackets are my favorite. I love the edginess of this look! Pair this with a high waisted skirt or jeans. Cropped denim jackets are also great on shorties, because they elongate you more than an oversized jacket.

As you pick out your staple jacket keep in mind that each style and brand will fit differently. Make sure to check reviews if they are available! Also, don’t be afraid to play with the sizing and figure out what you like best on your body type. I have realized that on me, a majorly oversized jacket doesn’t suit me, but a medium or cropped sized one is perfect for the look I am going for!
The most important thing is that you feel cool as hell and love your look!
